Monitoring Reports, Plans of Correction, Public Performance and Determinations

Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires that the lead agency monitor and supervise all early intervention services and programs in the state. Monitoring and accountability include self-assessment measures as well as external reviews and data collection. Monitoring involves the entire early intervention system at the local level.

The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) requires the Colorado Department of Human Services as lead agency for Colorado's Part C program under IDEA to report current data from local programs on indicators 1 through 8 and the program's performance on these indicators in relation to the state targets as set forth in the Colorado State Performance Plan: Federal IDEA, Part C Services. In addition to this requirement, the Colorado Interagency Coordinating Council has included the following information regarding the local EI programs: rankings against programs of similar size local early intervention program performance compared to overall state performance notation of progress, slippage or no change by indicator when compared to the last reporting period demographic information for each service are a status determination.

The below links include CCB Performance Profile links and program links which include any current monitoring reports and active plans of corrections.
