IDEA Federal Law, Regulations and Technical Assistance Centers
This section includes information about the federal law, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Part C, and federal and state policies related to that law. OSEP is the Office of Special Education Programs which administers IDEA in the U.S. Department of Education. NECTAC and MPRRC are federally funded centers that provide training and technical assistance to states about early intervention and preschool services. In order to participate in the federal Part C program Colorado must have a state plan and other policies that document how Colorado meets the requirements of Part C of IDEA.
